CHANGES FROM LAST YEAR
Saturday Dinner and Drinks will start at 6 pm. We have confirmed that the buffet will be open at 6 pm for your pleasure. You will not need a dinner ticket, a host will sign you in by name. No prizes this year, our grant restricts this. We will ensure there is adequate seating for everyone!

The Gym will be open for setup and warmup 30 minutes earlier than above.

KEY POINTS
We are very pleased to announce that the 2025 Nanaimo Open and Masters will be open for registration on August 21. We have great venues here in Nanaimo with 8 courts at Oliver Woods Community Centre and 6 courts at the Nanaimo Christian School. The Full registration includes assorted healthy and cold snacks on Friday night, a sandwich bar and buffet 11:00 - 2:00 Saturday and a dinner on Saturday night at the Driftwood Chinese Buffet a few minutes away.
The registration fee is
$100 with Saturday night dinner or
$85 without the dinner.

The Chinese buffet will include multiple protein dishes, vegetarian, gluten free and lactose free options.
If you are travelling from mainland BC by car, you need to book your reservation soon. Reservations are only $15 if paying your fare 7 days prior to sailing. Reservations can be cancelled for a refund minus a $5 fee up to 24 hours prior to departure. We strongly recommend booking your reservation now. Booking now will guarantee you a spot! :-)
Friday evening will be mixed doubles. If you are playing XD and are booking Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay on Friday, the morning or early afternoon sailings are best so that any traffic or ferry delays do not cause disruptions to the draws. The 1:25 pm sailing is already sold out. The Tsawassen to Duke Point is another good option, particularly if you are from Richmond or Surrey.

Warmups will start at 4:45 pm and matches asap after that.
The draw desk will try to accommodate players who need to be done earlier on Sunday due to travel, please let them know Saturday afternoon.

The Tournament committee has received a very generous grant from the Nanaimo Tourism. We will be offering a $15/night rebate for unique Nanaimo Hotel room stays. This ONLY applies to Nanaimo Hotels and Motels, not AirBNB etc.
